CCFC members are invited to perform in the Capital City Flute Orchestra (CCFO). CCFO is a non-auditioned ensemble and rehearses weekly on Thursdays. The orchestra includes piccolo, C flute, alto flute, bass flute and contrabass flute. The orchestra performs a fall and spring concert each year. Music performed includes levels 3 and 4. Flute orchestra members also participate in a variety of volunteer performance opportunities within the Boise community such as art shows, Festival of Trees and private events. There is an additional membership cost for CCFO members to cover expenses for music, rehearsal spaces, and performance venues.
